Neighbors, this is crazy! A 75-year-old South Carolina woman was arrested after she allegedly assaulted a baby while working at a Christian preschool. According to WCSC 5, Gladys Rampersant of North Charleston was arrested for unlawful conduct toward a child following the incident.
Back in July at Sweetgrass Christian Academy, Rampersant was seen being very physical with a child under the age of one year. Reports claim she yanked the infant by the arms before aggressively shaking the child and slamming them into a crib.
Moments later, she went back to the infant, pulled them out of the crib, and struck the baby in the head several times. Following a brief investigation into the incident, Rampersant was arrested but released five hours later after posting a $15,000 bond.
To make matters even worse, the preschool hadn’t even been open for a month before the incident occurred. Reports say Sweetgrass Christian Academy opened on July 26 of this year and now appears to be permanently closed following the incident.
